THE STORY

The many jobs you take throughout your working career could be wildly unexpected.

The shell fabric of this bag is from Mood Fabrics. At the time I was their Education Director. I developed all kinds of sewing classes, fashion workshops, even a sewing machine repair class. How this all came about remains a mystery. Mood Fabrics New York is legendary. I was neither a master sewer or public speaker. Exhilarating & terrifying all in the same breath. The brass leather is from a generous donation to my high school fashion class by the now defunct Rock & Republic Jean Co. This handbag has a smoky with diamonds vibe to it.
