The Story
For several years, I was fortunate to design altar furnishings and apparel for several large churches in Los Angeles & Orange County. The celery green Moire Silk fabric used to form the shell of this bag was a remnant from the altar cloth and pulpit cover I made for the Bel Aire Church. The pink ribbon appliques embroidered on the front & back of the bag are the last little bit of fabric left over from a dressmaking job for Mood Fabrics in Los Angeles. Light pink leather handle & closure + the gem-centered sunflower announce ‘this summer is for the girls’
