THE STORY
The Southern U.S. was dotted with many textile miles up until the early ‘80s. During that boom, Cone Mills, having specialized in denim for over 130 years, was one of the biggest denim manufacturers. Which brings us to the bag.
It’s a tale of the Rugged, the Refined and the Reused.
The Rugged: The bag itself is made from that traditional Cone Denim.
The Refined: Quilted handle. The lining is from a pure white, sumptuous faux mink.
The Reused: The pearl accent on the snap enclosure comes from a detail used by my Daughter-In-Law on the shoes she wore to her and my son’s wedding.
