THE STORY


Fall, 2020. New York Fashion Week. We were working with ostrich feathers for designer Matt Sarafa’s collection. And they were bane of my existence. We used it in two extraordinary pieces – a jacket and a pair of pants. While the technique of placing the feathers nearly brought me to my knees, the persistence and the vision paid off as those same ostrich pants were later copied by Gucci.
